Hi all,

Try to get this working using the ebuild, and information from the guide @ http://www.mikefetherston.ca/OX/html/index.html

I'm trying to add a user, but get the error:

"Undefined ERROR - LDAP CODE implementation specific"

I can't see what I've done wrong to cause this error. If I echo the LDAPCONN ( -H ldap://xxx -D cn=xxx,dc=xxx,dc=xxx -w xxx -x), and use the same connection parameters into ldapsearch, I get a list of all the LDAP objects, so I guess it's authenticating fine.

It's obviously tripping up on something, but I don't have a clue what. It's odd that it's not throwing an error code which should be LDAP CODE xx implementation specific. The users are definately not being added - the only user in the LDAP tree is the mailman user.

I just can't get it to work, and it's doing my head in...!! I've read through the long thread, but unless I [quite likely] missed something, I didn't see anything to fix this in there. The lack of thread searches on such long threads is a shame :(

If anyone has any suggestions, I'd greatly appreciate it 8)

Thanks for the reply, but I'm confused :?

open-xchange is already emerged -ssl, and nothing in that post matches what I'm seeing.

The LDAP data folder is already recursively owned by ldap:ldap, permissions 700. The ldif imports without a problem. The SQL database configures without a problem. The Cyrus part is irrelevant since I can't actually add the user to OX... :?

I didn't notice that thread was so recent though, probably had enough by the time I read through that thread
