Installing Ultra-10 with EVMS on raid-1 from start

Hi all,

I've got an Ultra 10 with two hard drives that should be set up in a raid-1 configuration. I've seen some stuff about EVMS making life much easier in such situations, and it seems to be better than having LVM on raid-1.

Trouble is I'm lost as to how to do an install with EVMS and raid-1 right from the start, and I can find no documentation or hints as to how this would be done. The only thing I've seen in the gentoo installation docs is in chapter 9 which mentions that evms users should emerge the package, but that's it. Also, there appears to be no sign of anything evms on the 2005.1 sparc 64 CD.

Does anyone have any pointers for me, or better still is there any documentation out there that would guide me in getting this done right from the start? I want to have the whole system set up like this (raid-1, evms), root partition included.
