Synce is the tool you need for connecting your pocket pc to your linux box and as for putting linux on it check out www.handhelds.org and see if you device is supported. |

I'm afraid that you still have to use vmware or win4lin to emulate a windows environment.
Because though it is possible to synchronize pim data under linux, how can you install new software? You can't run installation files which are in .exe format under linux and it seems impossible to use wine for this purpose.
Any new ideas? |

orange it will extract the cab file from the exe which means you can either install it by transfering it to the pda and installing there or using synce-software-install or simlar name. it is quick easy once you do it a few times. check out the synce website you will find all you need. |
