I have an Ultra5 and with a 20Gb hdd. Now, this is going to be setup as my tftp, LAP server and I was wondering if it's possible to upgrade to a larger hdd. I know this is a IDE but how far can one go, what I mean is how large hdd:s does an Ultra5 support? _________________ A bus station is where a bus stops, a train station is where a train stops. On

By upgrading to OBP to 3.10 (last) you may go up to 120GB, but you must have drive info
from vendor or you may try to configure the disk with solaris installation as far to 1st reboot.
I've noticed, that solaris installation found best options for drive and then just delete leftovers
with fdisk, but remember to keep /dev/hda3 (Whole disk).
In finnish (sorry):
Quote: | Siis 120gb pitäisi istua hienosti, kunhan saat arvot sisään. solariksen asennuslevyn kautta
löytyy parhaat vaihtoehdot - yleensä. Tarvit muuten solariksen asennettuna ennen OPB:n päivitystä.
Se ei toimi Linuxista. |
