hi all
http://www.gentoo.org/dyn/pkgs/net-mail/index.xml says that latest
sylpheed version is 0.8.9, but emerge suggests 0.8.8

root # emerge rsync && emerge -u world
root # emerge -p sylpheed

These are the packages that I would merge, in order:

Calculating dependencies ...done!
[ebuild N ] x11-misc/xloadimage-4.1
[ebuild N ] app-crypt/gnupg-1.2.1-r1
[ebuild N ] app-crypt/gpgme-0.3.9
[ebuild N ] app-misc/mime-types-1.0
[ebuild N ] net-mail/sylpheed-0.8.8

i'm surely missing something. any help?

i did it. though every time i emerge rsync i see this error
>>> starting rsync with rsync://rsync.gentoo.org/gentoo-portage...
rsync: getaddrinfo: http //proxy.my.isp: Servname not supported for ai_socktype
rsync error: error in socket IO (code 10) at clientserver.c(83)

>>> Updating Portage cache...
i have http_proxy var set and i see that rsync use so i have no clue what is the problem...

the solution was to add
ACCEPT_KEYWORDS="~86"
to /etc/make.conf
