Wie schon in der Überschrift steht will ich auf der Konsole eingescante Bilder (jpeg oder tiff) manipulieren (z.B. Bereiche ausschneiden). Welches Paktet (Programm) kann ich dazu verwenden?

scheint so zu sein, Danke

hab's eben mal emerged, leider bekomme ich da kein rechtes howto, weis jemand wie man das "-crop und -shave" richtig anwendet?

Öffne mal /usr/share/doc/ImageMagick-*/index.html im Browser, dann weiter zu convert und die gewünschte Option anklicken.

ok, danke hab's per probieren rausgefunden:
Code:
convert –crop 1000x200+100+200 <infile> <outfile>

erzeugt ein bild vom bereich 100,200 mit der Größe 1000x200

Wenn Du mutig bist oder einfach nur das <infile> <outfile> sparen willst, ersetz in Deinem Aufruf convert durch mogrify.
