|
|
Hi!
I searched for 20 minutes with various keywords to get the post where it says what I need to do to get this working,
since I KNOW it's out there.
But I'm giving up now:
ls /bin/bash/ = Not a directory and I can't cp metadatas or anything
What do I need to recompile / patch?
Thanks!

Change "#define ENABLE_REISER4_PSEUDO (0)" to #define ENABLE_REISER4_PSEUDO (1)" in /usr/src/linux/fs/reiser4/reiser4.h, recompile your kernel, and try "ls /bin/bash/..../" instead of "ls /bin/bash/".
EDIT: file-as-a-directory will be temporarily removed when reiser4 makes vanilla, and since there's no practical use for it now, it probably isn't worth the recompilation unless you're just looking for the novelty factor |
