Suggestions for kernel cfg (Intel 7501HG2 mobo+SRCU42x RAID)

Hi group,

The company I work for, is having a new server arriving in a few days, and we're planning to put Gentoo on it.

However, I'm a bit unsure as to configuring the kernel. We've decided to run a 2.6.12-r10 kernel, and the server is roughly configured like this:

* dual Xeon 2.6GHz CPUs
* 4GB RAM
* Intel 7501HG2 motherboard
* Intel SRCU42x U320 RAID controller
* 5 x 146GB disks in RAID5 config

Does anyone out there have any suggestions regarding the config of the kernel? Any experience I could harvest?
