hi...i want to active my modem in gentoo-2.6.13 but when i run
#modprobe intel536
this error appears :
FATAL : Error Inserting Intel536(/lib/modules/2.6.13/kernel/drivers/char/Intel536.ko)unknown symbol in modules or unknown parameters see(dmesg) |

That is a default message for a module that is not going to work proper (I bet your glad I told you that eh) However. Are you sure that is the chipset and did you look at dmesg? _________________ ...because geek is as geek does...

Please post the error message from dmesg. It will tell us what went wrong.
You can get it again by repating the modprobe then doing dmesg _________________ Regards,
