I used to have samba working as a primary domain controler using smbpasswd file, but I decided to try and use LDAP with samba now. I have the ldap working, and when i Code: | smbpasswd -a -m machine | the entry doesget added to my ldap database. I have user accounts, adn an administrator and nobody account in the database as well.
The problem is that when I go to log on to the domain i get the error Quote: | The system cannot log you on to the domain because the
systems computer account in its primary domain is missing or the password on
that account is incorrect |
Am I missing something? I tried to use the import_smbpasswd.pl script that comes with samba, but it "Can't locate Net/LDAP.pm", which is installed.
Thanks,
Michael |
