Hi,
I'm trying to burn a vcd with cdrdao. I used vcdimager to make a .cue and .bin file from a .mpg file. When I type

$ cdrdao write --device ATA:1,0,0 --speed 8 videocd.cue

I get this

Quote:

$ cdrdao write --device ATA:1,0,0 --speed 8 videocd.cue
Cdrdao version 1.2.0 - (C) Andreas Mueller <andreas@daneb.de>
SCSI interface library - (C) Joerg Schilling
Paranoia DAE library - (C) Monty

Check http://cdrdao.sourceforge.net/drives.html#dt for current driver tables.
$

and nothing happens. I know that I have my device is right becuase when I type this:

$ cdrdao drive-info --device ATA:1,0,0

it says

Quote:

$ cdrdao drive-info --device ATA:1,0,0
Cdrdao version 1.2.0 - (C) Andreas Mueller <andreas@daneb.de>
SCSI interface library - (C) Joerg Schilling
Paranoia DAE library - (C) Monty

Check http://cdrdao.sourceforge.net/drives.html#dt for current driver tables.

Using libscg version 'schily-0.8'

ATA:1,0,0: COMBO-52X16C Rev: 1.83
Using driver: Generic SCSI-3/MMC - Version 2.0 (options 0x0000)

Maximum reading speed: 9154 kB/s
Current reading speed: 9154 kB/s
Maximum writing speed: 9154 kB/s
Current writing speed: 9154 kB/s
BurnProof supported: yes
JustLink supported: yes
JustSpeed supported: no
$

Any suggestions? 8O

No worries mates, I fixed it.

There was a bug in cdrao, so I had to recompile it with the CFLAGS set to nothing. I did this by temporarily setting

CFLAGS=""

in /etc/make.conf. Then I did "emerge cdrdao".
