Try to sync again.

emerge sync

Or just do an:

ebuild /usr/portage/sys-devel/gcc/gcc-3.3.5.20050130-r1.ebuild digest

A lot of people seem to be having similar problems in the past 24 hours. Try switching to the default rsync mirror (just comment out your "SYNC=" line in your make.conf) and do "emerge --sync" again. That seems to have fixed it for all the other cases. Does anybody on the forums know why this is happening, though?

Ok, so it syncs fine, but you want to remove all the packages downloaded from the old mirror? Not sure if it's needed, but guess it doesn't hurt. All the already downloaded files are stored in /usr/portage/distfiles. Just cd into that and remove anything that you want to re-download (It would be easier to just remove everything in that directory, and I think that's safe, but I definitely wouldn't trust just my opinion on it since I've never tried it. I know most of that's in there is safe to delete, but there might be a crucial file in there that I don't know about.)
