|
|
I have Beagle 0.12 Working, and it seems to be Indexing everything fine except for Gaim logs.
Watching the daemon in the foreground I can see it saying "Checking .gaim/logs, took 0.1 seconds" etc, but none of them have been/are indexed. I've let the daemon run for a few days and everything else in my home directory is indexed fine. I do have inotify on, etc... I can do live queries and "touch 123456.txt" and see "123456" pop up in the search instantly.
Am I missing something as far as Gaim logs go? I've googled around forever. |

it's a bug.

This is a bug in the 0.0.12 release. It has been fixed in CVS. You can either upgrade to Beage CVS or remove one line of in the Beagle code. The change that needs to be made is in beagled/GaimLogQueryable/GaimLogQueryable.cs. Remove the line that says:
indexable.Filtering = IndexableFiltering.Never;
And then recompile and install and you're all set. |
