Ao emitir o comando:

grub-install

eu obtive a seguinte mensagem de erro.
Could not find device for /boot: Not found or not a block device.

Aqui segue o conteudo do meu

qual e' a partiçao que designaste pro /boot ? Ja leste o Handbook esta la tudo explicadinho :oops:

eu j´a li o handbook sim...

O problema e que eu nao posso deletar as minha partiçoes para criar novas partiçoes. Isso significa que terei que deixar o /boot para o /dev/hda6 e o root para /dev/hda7...

assim o suse vai ficar no /dev/hda8 e a swap vai ficar no /dev/hda9

por´em minhas d´uvidas sao:

- Terei que por o /dev/hda6 como bootable?
- Qual seria exatamente a configiraçao baseado que meu sistema ja esta funcionando com o windows e o suse. So falta instalar o gentoo mesmo.

Apenas uma pequena nota, não é *obrigatório* que tenhas uma partição para a /boot, *mas* é sempre bom que tenhas:wink:
