Xvnc and Inetd problems

Hi all,

I recently read this post regarding VNC and Xinetd to spawn vncservers on request from connecting clients....

but I cannot get it to work. There is a section that mentions editing files for KDM or GDM regarding XDCMP settings.. but i don't user either... ATM I am using normal xdm as a login manager.... is there anything I have to do differently or change to get it to work correctly with xdm ?

I followed this tutorial through to the end even with xdm, but when i try to connect from a client it automatically refuses the conection.

I am at work ATM so I don't have access to my nixBox to get cfg files etc... but I can supply some info on demand... thanks for any help you can give me.
