My goal is start X without a visible mouse cursor showing up. Currently, it's there even when it's started without a mouse plugged in. I'm using HAL without an xorg.conf. _________________ Git has obsoleted SVN.

If you use slim login manager it has a option to not to show the mouse cursor
/etc/slim.conf
| Code: | # Hide the mouse cursor (note: does not work with some WMs)
# Valid values: true|false
# hidecursor false

I want to put a sudo command to start X as a normal user in local.start. _________________ Git has obsoleted SVN.

| It looks like there's an option for X: allowMouseOpenFail ? Does that work? |
