Hi
VLC used to read my DVDs ok on PPC. But not anymore, for months.
Has someone noted the last working version ? Cause I did not :(
Thanks in advance. Regards.

EDIT: I must have missed a transition in USE flags since it broke. But now with 1.0.1 and enough US flags, it works. Thanks

Maybe I had the same problem. Every DVD Movie got stuck while playing with VLC since version 0.9. I downloaded version 1.0.1 from the original website http://www.videolan.org, compiled and installed it. Version 1.0.1 and 1.0.0 work fine and the Movies runs fluently.

The current version in portage (0.9.10) does not work for PPC. At least on my Pegasos II.

Does VLC use libdvdread? Recent versions of that seem broken on PPC. Downgrading libdvdread fixed the DVD playback issue with mplayer here.

No, my installation does not use it.
