I was seeing if I could emerge the new open source release of blender. Sure enough after an emerge sync I found I nice shiny new blender-2.26.ebuild in my portage tree.
But emerge -s blender reports only an older version.
I took a look in package.mask to see if the new blender was masked out, it wasn't. I checked the dependencies too, they weren't masked out either.
What aren't I understanding here?
cheers

Use ACCEPT_KEYWORDS="~arch"
like
ACCEPT_KEYWORDS="~x86" emerge blender
Be warned that you are going to use the unstable branch. See also the FAQ. _________________ "I'm just very selective about the reality I choose to accept." -- Calvin |
