Hi,
Has anyone had any success using plugins with quod libet? I have downloaded some plugins off the site and placed them in ~/.quodlibet/plugins/, but that does not seem to work. I have made the plugins, which are py files, executable too. |

yup, i have the "clock.py" and the "osd.py" plugins and they work fine.
Code: | ruben@beast ~/.quodlibet/plugins $ ls -l
total 40
-rw-r--r-- 1 ruben users 3209 May 4 07:54 clock.py
-rw-r--r-- 1 ruben users 5687 Jun 14 01:18 clock.pyc
-rw-r--r-- 1 ruben users 11897 Jun 12 22:55 osd.py
-rw-r--r-- 1 ruben users 12424 Jun 14 01:18 osd.pyc

As far as I remember, I just downloaded the ".py" files and placed them in that directory. |

jup,
just downloaded the files ad placed them there. works fine. the download from the side is a bit tricky though, because the links go to a version which has syntax highlighhted with html. these files won't work. in order to get working versions, attach a &format=txt to those links and save the resulting page.
Code: |
http://www.sacredchao.net/quodlibet/file/trunk/plugins/osd.py?rev=1474
|
becomes
Code: |
http://www.sacredchao.net/quodlibet/file/trunk/plugins/osd.py?rev=1474&format=txt
|
note that the correct dl links are not missing for all plugins. |

Yep. It was the poorly designed website that caught me out. Thanks |
