Gnome startx Error

Well I installed gnome according to the handbook and when i type "startx" i get this

I have no idea what to do and ive searched around on the forum and on google with no results. I'm installing this on VMware.

Did you build xorg with support for vmware's video and mouse driver?

Please post the INPUT_DEVICES and VIDEO_CARDS sections from your /etc/make.conf.

INPUT_DEVICES should normally be set to "keyboard, mouse, evdev" (make sure you have enabled event system in your kernel.
