I would really like X on my ultra 5....

I've gone through end edited my xorg.conf file for all the necessary bits (I just modified the example script heavily, mostly), but I still can't get X to work. All I get is a blank screen. The only error I seem to get when using 'startx' is this one:

(EE) VGA(0): Cannot read V_BIOS (5)

All the rest are associated with the sun type 5 madness. So does anyone have any idea as to what this could mean? I've been hoping it was my modelines (which were a problem earlier, then X just crashed, now it idles at a black screen), and I'm really not sure what this is. i'll post my xorg.conf in a little bit, as I'd have to get it into links2.
