Turtle Beach Santa Cruz problems with ALSA 0.9.0 RC7

Hey all

As soon as I upgraded, on Gentoo, from ALSA 0.9.0 RC6 to ALSA 0.9.0 RC7, my
Turtle Beach Santa Cruiz card stopped working altogether, from just being
able to use the front two speakers in RC6.

Any help?

alsa rc6 emulates 2 soundcards (for cs46xx cards)
one for front and one for rear speakers and i have no idea how to use both at once =(((
