xine and dmd plugin working

While I legally have purchased or have been gifted with DVD's, well, you know the issue.
I like mplayer, ogle, and xine, but couldn't get the DMD plugin for Xine working.

Here's what I did. Hope it works for others.

emerge media-libs/xine-lib/xine-lib-0.9.13-r2.ebuild
emerge media-video/xine-ui/xine-ui-0.9.13.ebuild

Go here:

download xine_dmd_plugin-1.0.7.tar.gz to /usr/portage/distfiles, then
chmod 644 /usr/portage/distfiles/xine_dmd_plugin-1.0.7.tar.gz

Some "cheating":
cd /usr/portage/media-plugins/xine-dmd
cp xine-dmd-1.0.6.ebuild xine-dmd-1.0.7.ebuild
ebuild xine-dmd-1.0.7.ebuild digest
emerge -p xine-dmd-1.0.7.ebuild
emerge xine-dmd-1.0.7.ebuild

rm -rf $HOME/.xine/*
xine &
(from a shell so we can see what's going on...)

Now I can watch "24"'s first season, again, but off DVD is this nice!

(Only not many skins come with the xine-ui ...)
