libsandbox causes kernel panic (2)

Hi all,

I've a little problem:

After getting an empty battery during compilation on my notebook I'm not able to boot the system again. All I get is a kernel panic:

Unable to load shared library /usr/lib/portage/lib/libsandbox.so (no such object).
The library is present.
I think it is called by the first init-script. But as I'm new to Gentoo-Linux I can not figure out which script is run first.
