Hi, I've just installed Gentoo for the first time. I cant connect to the network. I booted the livecd and I've done lspci and I get
Linksys NC100 Network Everywhere
for the nic card. I did lsmod and I saw tulip so I installed that and recompiled the kernel. No luck there though.
Am I using the right driver?
Thanks,
Jason

I also added the natsemi line. That gets an error as well though.
Any suggestions?
Thanks |

I'm still getting the eth0 device doesnt exist error. I put the tulip driver in the kernel that didnt work, then I tried to add it as a module, and it just says it cant find it. This is getting a bit frustrating. Everything works fine from the live CD. |
