|
|
This is what apache2 init script gives:
Code: |
localhost mayday # /etc/init.d/apache2 start
* Caching service dependencies ... [ ok ]
* Apache2 has detected a syntax error in your configuration files:
/usr/sbin/apache2: error while loading shared libraries: libexpat.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
|
I tried re-emerging "expat" and "apache" as well, but still the same error. _________________ gentoo.ro

Seems like he wants mesa-6.4.2 although I've installed the latest mesa-6.5.2. How can I find which programs it depend on? _________________ gentoo.ro |

I was getting fed up with dependency after dependency on the revdep-rebuild and was having to do a lot of it by hand. Then I did this and apache2 started just fine, but I'm wondering if this is bad?
Code: | cd /usr/lib
ln -s libexpat.so libexpat.so.0 |
It works, but why did it come to this? _________________ RYZEN 5 3600 Matisse (Zen 2) 6-Core 3.6 GHz Socket AM4 65W
