Greetings!
I tried to emerge xfce4-themes,
Code: |
mulo 21:33:01 root # emerge xfce4-themes
Calculating dependencies ...done!
!!! Error: the >xfce-base/xfce4-4.0.6 package conflicts with another package.
!!! both can't be installed on the same system together.
!!! Please use 'emerge --pretend' to determine blockers.

and so I tried,
Code: |
mulo 21:34:19 root # emerge --pretend xfce4-themes
These are the packages that I would merge, in order:

How do I fix this? I tried quick reading the FAQ, but couldn't find anything on this. (Yes, I only browsed quickly, since time is of the essence.)
thanks.

According to the ebuild file XFCE4 replaced XCFE4-base and XFCE4-base should be removed
look at the file /usr/portage/xfce-base/xfce4/xfce4-4.2.2.ebuild and read the ewarn (near the bottom in the post install section).
I would unmerge xfce4-base and try again. I think this will take care of both messages.
Let me know
