hey gentoo heads, I run freebsd on my server at home, and gentoo everywhere else..
Is there a gentoo equivalent of the freebsd
/etc/periodic/daily/450.status-security script?
or even the portaudit utility?
I want to know if there are known vulnerabilities in all of the packages that I have installed via portage.

how about using glsa-check? its in the gentoolkit package.
it'll list all the vulernabilities and tell you which ones you are affected by, and it can try to fix them if you want.
I usually just use it to check if the system is affected by a vulernability or not, then manually fix the problem. |
