Hiya !

Im trying to use 2 Screens in X , I already tried Twinview but that made both my screens into 1 and strechtes out everything , making fullscreen stuff such as movies and games pretty ugly....

Now I'm trying this Xinerama stuff but I cannot get it to work , still just one monitor on

You need to define both screens in the server layout section.

Something like:
Screen nvidia0screen
Screen nvidia1screen RightOf nvidia2screen

hello!

i have an analog configuration with an ati radeon 9800xt using the ati-driver. when i start xorg with xinerama disabled i get on screen 0 my own customized kde desktop but on screen 1 i get a default kde desktop. when i start the menu editor all my changes are present and all shortcuts are there, but nothing of them is working except on screen 0.
when i enable xinerama and i start kdm i get only the right half of the login screen but that is cloned to both monitors, so the left half is missing.

any ideas?

Maybe you got a setting on the second monitor it cant handle?
Resultion , or HerizSync , VertRefresH?
