Console-based cd burning

I'm setting up a server that has a cd-burner in it. It's not going to have a monitor attached, so I don't really want to install X. I'd like to still be able to burn audio cds, vcds,... What are some good console-based tools to do this? My girlfriend will be burning cds too, so I'd prefer something that's not too complicated.

I suggest you take a look at:

cdrecord is a great tool, although it is complicated. Freshmeat should have at least a couple of console front ends for you to use.

Many many of the GUI cd burning progs use cdrecord as the back end.

It looks like BurnCenter will do almost all I want, but what about vcds?
