Code:
/usr/bin/tcpserver: error while loading shared libraries: libc.so.6: failed to map segment from shared object: Cannot allocate memory

I started with a user complaining that mail wasn't coming through and managed to track it down to qmail-smtp failing with the above message. I thought glibc might be the culprit, but re-emerging glibc doesn't fix the problem. I really don't know enough about linux to diagnose further. Help would be appreciated.

That smells like you need to increase the softlimit parameter... :-)

Hth,

That was it. My apologies, I was sure I'd searched all the qmail messages before posting this one...
