Hi, my problem is that vmware-console doesn't show the guest vm's screen if it is not running as root (only the configuration screens is shown). Only if I start vmware-console as root (start X server as user, and do "su" in xterm), will I get the screen of the vm. I am running vmware-console-3.1.0.9809. I also tried it from portage and from tar.gz (downloaded from gsx server 3.1.0.9809). I can use the same vmware-console from an other machine without problems, actually it is a debian sarge running the gsx server.
It look like there is some problem with rights?

Thanks,
XCaffee
