I'm running fluxbox and when I open-up a xterm I find it a little to big: it is about W:84 x H:24 and I have to resize it manualy each time I use it.

How can I change the values (if it is posible)?

Thanks

Edit /usr/share/fluxbox/menu

Change

Code:
xterm -fg white -bg black

to

Code:
xterm -fg white -bg black -geometry 80x24

(Format for the geometry is <columns>x<rows>.)

You might want to look at the man page for xterm. It's monstrous, but if you wade through it all, you can find numerous useful options. For example, I like to set mine up as:

Code:
xterm -fg white -bg black -geometry 80x24 -sl 500 -rightbar

That gives me the scroll bar on the right hand side, which I prefer, and gives me a LOT more history to scroll back through the output of long commands.

I was reading an earlier post on fluxbox, and c_kuzmanic mentioned ~/.fluxbox/menu.

That would probably be a better place to edit than /usr/share/fluxbox/menu.
