Hi.
Just tried to install gentoo 1.1
After following online instructions I get as far as the chroot. After that I cant do anything. (The next step is to emerge rsync) but no commands are found, (the path is not set) and I see the commands nowere.
I had the same problem in a earlier release.
Is this just me or is there more to it ?

Actually, the next step immediately after chroot should be:
followed by:
| Code: | | source /etc/profile |
Did you do those two steps?

What I did when I was installing was have 2 virtual consoles open. 1 for the setup, and the other to read the install.txt. I would punch in all the necessary codes and made sure I put the correct one in before pressing enter.
