Hello,

in my lilo.conf I've set vga to extended. So, if I start my system just for
a few seconds the vga is extended, then it falls back to 80x25.

I've removed the consolefont=... from the /etc/rc.conf and also tried to set
a matching font from /usr/share/consolefont/...

Nothing helps. On startup the console falls back to 80x25.
What to do to get 80x50?

daniel

You need to enable the framebuffer. See here: https://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic-t-49036.html

fb support is compiled with my kernel.
On startup the system uses 80x50, but only for a few seconds. Then it falls back.

Code:
setfont lat9u-10
works fine.
