It has to be May somewhere. I've been playing around with the Sloth metacity theme seeing if I can port my themes over. I managed to get the colors and shadows going, so here's a SS of that. This is going to be a work in progress for a while, but here's what I have so far.

Mind if I ask why you switched to gnome from blackbox? Not saying either is better, I'm just curious :) .

Openbox is dead in my eyes, I don't see them adding any new theme features. This means I'm basically stuck making gradient only themes. Metacity does pixmaps, and does rounded corners, so I'll have more things to play with. Also after playing with luminocity, Gnome is the way to go. Plus, I only needed to emerge 5 packages to use gnome-light so I thought why not... I love it, and it'll be hard ever going back.

Could you point me to a guide to getting Fluxbox looking that good? I cant seem to make it look pretty no matter how hard I try.

Here's mine. Probably pales in comparison to some of these around here, but here goes:

Fluxbox 0.9.12 with the fluxmod themes installed
transparent MRXVT's (irssi at top left in the borderless term, emerge -Du world in the bot. left, and the screencap in the bot. right)
gkrellm2 (dunno what theme it is tho)

that's about as messy as it gets, as i have 8 workspaces that keep my work organized.
