For some reason, I don't recall this happening until recently, but I could be mistaken.
If I click on a link, and the page is slow to load, I frequently go to another window/term
or something to do work. Now, Galeon brings itself into focus as the front window.
I don't remember this happening until recently. It is possible that it has always done
this and I just now noticed it, but it could be related to this https://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic.php?t=3260
problem. Can this be stopped?

Why yes, there is :). Users of Gnome/Sawfish may change the configuration settings
Sawfish -> Miscellaneous -> Ignore requests from applications to change window stacking.

Hehe... just thought I'd be funny with my own answer. It didn't even occur to me at first
that it would be in sawfish settings. I found it after reading a thread about using alt-tab
to go through windows.
