This seems to be a dependency of perl-ldap, which is a dependency of samba (with the ldap use flag). I get the following errors when it tries to emerge:

I get this on several different machines--a P4, Athlon, and K6-2 machine. Any ideas?

Emerging the Test-Harness ebuild solved this problem. If this is a dependency of Perl modules, why does the ebuild not require it?

Uhm, okay. I suppose it may have fixed the problem on one machine (the P4) but not the other two (the Athlon and the K6-2). The latter still fail with the same errors.

Anyone have any ideas?
