Hello,
I seem to be having a problem with Postfix. It used to work fine, but the problem stems from me renaming my normal user account.
Whenever I try to send mail to the newly renamed account if I look at the mail log I get the following error message: Unknown user in local recipient table and I never get the message.
I have rerun newaliases a hundred times to no avail. I have unmerged/re-merged Postfix to no avail. I searched the Internet and found that there is a line in the main.cf file I can un-rem out that might help but since I didn't have to do it before I would prefer not to do it now. Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks..

When you say you renamed your user account, what exactly did that entail?
I'd be willing to bet that if you used the useradd command it would work.
