Hi all!
I just recently bought these pretty cool gadgets, and I was wondering
if anyone have had any luck with them under Linux.
The Camera is a Mustek G-Sm@rt mini 3, and the Mp3-player is a Cowon iAudio 200 with 256 MB RAM. I was wondering if it had good driver support, or if I could get it working with Wine?
I am most worried about the iAudio, because it doesn't seem to be doing
everything "the standard way". Sooo, anyone who's got one of these working? : _________________ C is for Cookies! |

I don't have any experience with your two gadgets so I can't help you there.. But I thought you might like to know that if you can't get them working natively, you won't get them to work with wine. I was recently trying to get some USB stuff working and found out that wine won't support usb devices unless your kernel can use them anyways. It won't emulate the drivers.
YMMV but that's what I've been told and those were the results I got too... _________________ Shoot Pixels Not People

The newest gphoto2(2.1.1) supports the Mustek Gsmart cameras, but you you'll have to download it from there site because the one in portage is too old (2.1.0). |
