Help with mounting 7 in 1 memory card reader

So I have this $6 memory card reader that works great in windows, and LOOKS like it would work in linux, but i can't get it to mount for some reason.

tail /var/log/messages reads

Am i missing something? I can plug my camera straight into the usb and mount that no problem, but for some reason this reader is being a turd.

The sticker on the back of the reader says

USB Card Reader
Model No. UCR-61

I found this post about it allegedly workign with redhat but could'nt reply to the post ofr some reason?!?!

But can't find anything about gentoo, or if there is a "special" mounting instruction that i am missing....

Any one mount multi card readers inlinux??

I don't think you should be using the low performance usb support. Several other people have had problems with it. I'd recommend getting rid of it, and sticking to a combination of usb storage and scsi emulation for starters. You might need to enable scsi hard drive support at the same time.
