alsa multiple streams

This isnt accually a question or a problem, but on my laptop i did a fresh install, and alsa was capable of playing multiple sound streams by default. Normally i had to make a .asoundrc for softwaremixing the stream, so now im wondering if anyone knows how i did it on my laptop cause i want it on my other pc's to

The sound card on your laptop probably has hardware mixing.
