I am trying to install on my sparc, using live cd 2005 when I boot up:

What sort of sparc do you have, how much ram etc ?

I saw in the screen "SPARCstation 5 208 MB memory installed, Serial #7810683."

Btw I am from wellington New Zealand too

Yep - ebay or sometimes a few sticks come up on trademe.
Do you know what sort it is - Ive got a couple of 32mb sticks of 60ns ultra5 ram knocking around somewhere dont know if they are compatible.
