I ordered a dedicated server from Infolink because it was really cheap. Its twice the price many people pay for webspace. I almost immediatly noticed that some sites (mainly my school) were blocking my entire netblock cause Infolink is listed as a spammer. Is there a way to get just my ip unblocked? Or do I have to play games with relays. What I'm gonna end up setting up is a relay that knows what servers are blocking me. If mail is going out to that server, its gonna forward the connection through my school's smtp server with my credentials (let my schools outgoing smtp server deliver to the incoming smtp server and to everyone else). That is a really ghetto solution and when I graduate in a year....it might not work anymore. Any ideas? _________________

If you use a dedicated webhost that has gotten its entire netblock onto spamlists then you have two options:
1. investigate why this is so and convince either the blacklists to remove them or convince them to behave better, or
2. dump them and move on to a better hosting provider.
It's generally a good sign of amateurs. _________________ >>> emerge (3 of 7) mcse/70-293 to /
