Hi everybody. After some struggles, I have gentoo installed on my
brand new fujitsu p7010 miniature computer. I'm exploring the
more esoteric possibilities, in particular hiberation and suspension.

So far suspend to ram seems to work perfectly. The system goes to
sleep when I close the lid and wakes up again when I open it (I
haven't tried this with a heavy module load yet, but it sleeps and
wakes in X/kde with no trouble).

Suspend to disk is more problematic. First, I have to switch to a
text terminal to issue the hibernation command (is there a way
to script this so I can do it from the kde desktop?). Otherwise,
the machine does not wake up.

But if I do the terminal switch hibernation works, but I lose my
3d acceleration (this is an intel chip i915 driver). Acceleration returns
if I restart X. Anyone know a fix for this?

TIA
