In the desktop install guide it mentions that x veterans might remember makeing sym links from /dev/psaux to /dev/mouse.
Why would you do this/need to do this? That author then uses /dev/psaux for the mouse device, but I have seen others use /dev/mouse.
What is recommended?

I just leave my mouse settings alone...
I had problems with older versions of linux with regards to the mouse, but now things are fine...
I think it has to do with DevFS. I'm not entirely sure why though...

I had a problem with the simlink from I believe /dev/mouse to /dev/psaux, so I just put /dev/mouse as the mouse device.
(Problems were that the mouse was all screwy, like selecting text when I moved it even 1 pixel and shit) |

Well, my ps2 mouse IS at /dev/psaux. I was just wondering if some other programs would expect it at /dev/mouse.
