If I'm reading that right it looks like you ext2 drive is corrupted, and can't be properly mounted to finish the boot process. Maybe you should try running e2fsck on it. Just an idea. _________________ --Quote of the Month--

Is this a brand new install?
Do you see the partitions when you boot up from the livecd?
Is the fs specified in the the fstab correct? |

That's "loop", so he's probably seeing that by booting from the CD.
Hint: you're getting cdrom read errors - try burning the CD slower and/or on better media.
Otherwise you may have to try with another cdrom drive.
Anyway hypers are flaky (non-working) most of the time, YMMV. _________________ Gustavo Zacarias

I had aurora linux on this computer before
I had to do a fresh install of gentoo
when I got this message
i removed all the partitions and restartwd and got the same message |
