Nforce audio soundstorm (HW mixing) problem

I compile my kernel without ALSA, and with only OSS support. My kernel version is 2.6.9.
I install the latest nforce drivers, who must have soundstorm support. But when i run two
xmms with OSS plugin, they cant play together. I cant run and together xmms and mplayer.
In apart xmms or mplayer work good with sound.

Code: Select all

lsmod
Module Size Used by
nvidia 3913724 12
nvsound 1538872 1
nvnet 67748 0
ppp_synctty 8192 0
w83627hf 28712 0
i2c_sensor 2944 1 w83627hf
i2c_isa 1728 0
i2c_core 19280 3 w83627hf,i2c_sensor,i2c_isa
ohci_hcd 19204 0
usbhid 24320 0
nvsound module is loaded, what other must to do for work soundstorm.

thx in advance,
mye

[edit]

Could someone tell me if this:
http://www.msicomputer.com/product/p_sp ... del=K7N2-V

would support hardware mixing with the nvidia nForce Linux driver?

[edit #2]

OK, looks like it'll never mix my sound -- I really don't get the details, but you need MCP-T on your Board
for hw-mixing.

OMG, just read, with nforce2, MCP without the "-T" hasn't even got the APU (Audio Processing Unit).

I'm out of luck. Again. Anyway, sooner or later i will go for dmix.
