Ich frage mich warum emerge bestimmte pakete par tout instaliieren moechte!

[ebuild U ] sys-libs/glibc-2.3.1-r3 [2.2.5-r7]
[ebuild U ] net-print/cups-1.1.18-r2 [1.1.18-r1]
[ebuild N ] sys-apps/iptables-1.2.7a-r3
Warum soll sys-kernel/gentoo-sources-2.4.20-r1 installiert werden? Ich habe die ac-sources installiert. Und warum grub? Ich benutze doch lilo...
Und iptables und dhcpd brauche ich hier zuhause aufm desktop nich...
Ich mein perl und lm_sensors ist klar, das gibts halt neuer, will aber die jeweils aelteren versionen benutzten (oder compiliert gimp-1.2.3 jetzt mit perl-5.8.0-r9?).
BTW. hatte jemand schonmal mein grub Problem?
Jetzt unter gentoo bekomme ich einen Error21 und das wars. Aber da ist nicht wichtig, lilo geht gut...

Hi,
wenn ein emerge -p world pakete updaten möchte, heißt das, dass Du die Pakete schon einmal installierst hast.
versuche mal: emerge unmerge $Paketname

Eigentlich nicht. Die Pakete sind in irgendwelchen Abhängikeiten drinnen. was sagt ein emerge -up world?

Hmmm, ja installiert sind die Pakete schonmal gewesen. Aber was sollte von grub abhaengig sein wenn ich lilo habe?

Hmmm... auch ne gute idee... Da kommt mir aber auch nix verdaechtig vor...

Nichts. Aber anscheinend braucht's ein extra
um lilo für portage als default einzustellen. Jedenfalls ging's bei mir so wie im vorletzten Newsletter <http://www.gentoo.org/news/de/gwn/20030113-newsletter.xml> beschrieben ("virtual/bootloader"). |

ja, tatsaechlich. grub, der _leider_ nicht funktioniert, ist vom Tisch!
Fragt sich nur was iptables und dhcpcd da sollen, aber das ist nicht so wichtig eigentlich |
