I have this card too, you need either mm-sources kernel with newest bk-alsa patchset or grep the bk-alsa from kernel.org/pub/linux/kernel/akpm in 2.6 recent dir.If you need a prepatch kernel feel free to contact me _________________ [:: Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo E6300 ]::[ Mainboard: ASUS P5B Deluxe ]::[ GPU: nVidia 7900GTO ::]

I have installed the newest kernel 2.6.11-r4 (I'm using gentoo-dev-sources)
I have used a file bk-alsa.patch (dir: /pub/linux/kernel/people/akpm/patches/2.6/2.6.11/2.6.11-mm2/broken-out) for patching the kernel, but it still doesn't work (I can't change the volume)
was this file good for patching the kernel? |
